An independent exchange service replacing Premium Exchanger: retaining familiar business workflows in a platform the team can control and develop itself.

Why a new platform was needed
The team used Premium Exchanger, a WordPress solution extended through modules. Over time, the security of the existing system no longer met their needs.
The business needed its own platform while retaining essential exchange and operations management workflows. The migration needed to cover not just the customer form, but the processes supporting everyday service operations.
From familiar workflows to an independent system
IT SYNERGY.DEV studied the Premium Exchanger manual and used it to prepare a technical specification. The described functionality was implemented independently in Calypte.io.
Workflows familiar to the team became the foundation of their own system, from exchange calculations and request creation to transaction processing and service management.
An exchange from calculation to payout
Customers choose an exchange direction and enter the amount and payment details. Before submitting a request, they see the calculation, limits and available reserve; afterwards, they can track its status.
The system follows each request through to payout. Confirmations and standard operations are automated where the relevant integrations are configured. Cases requiring review are passed to an operator.
A key development challenge was aligning calculations with rates and reserves, and organising request processing as a sequence of automated and manual stages.
Receiving and processing exchange requests
Exchange requests are the operator's main workspace. Operators see the direction, amounts and current status, verify details and handle the stages that require manual intervention.
A customer's payment notification appears in the workspace. It marks a processing stage, not a completed payout: the operator continues handling the transaction according to its state.
The administrative panel also lets the team manage rates, reserves, commissions and users, monitor operations and resolve exceptional situations.
Integrations for exchange operations
The platform connects to cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets and payment merchants, including exchange directions involving bank cards.
Integrations form part of request processing: connected services perform the relevant exchange stages, while operators handle manual reviews. The exact automated actions depend on the configured direction and integration.
An independent foundation for growth
Calypte gained its own platform in place of a WordPress solution with add-on modules. Essential exchange workflows were retained and implemented in a system the team can control and develop around business needs.
The outcome is an independent software foundation that brings together customer exchanges, external integrations and operations management.
